[UPDATE 27/5/2021]  The Victorian Government has this morning imposed a State wide, seven day “circuit breaker” lockdown. As a result the current pause on all VBSA competitions will remain unchanged.

The VBSA is liaising with the relevant authorities and is working in the background to ensure the long term impact to our current pennant season and upcoming tournaments is minimised.

As always, we will keep you updated with any new developments as soon as they come to hand.

Please see additional information regarding the recent COVID notification in the attached FAQ.

Please keep an eye on the website and any announcements as the situation will be updated regularly when available.

Championship date changes

Whilst we can't be certain when play can resume, we are working to prepare for potential recommencement of play. Please see the changes below and note these are subject to change depending on government guidance:

The Pacific and National Billiards championship dates have been moved back from June 15th - 18th and June 19th - 22nd to Jul 27th - 30th and July 31st - Aug 3rd respectively.

The City of Melbourne event which was originally set for Jun 12th - 14th has been paused and we will confirm dates when known.

The Victorian State Snooker championship has moved forward from September to Jul 24th - 25th. Entries for this event are now open.

If you wish to transfer your entry from the City of Melbourne Championship to the Victorian State Snooker Championship or if you have already registered and paid entry to these tournaments and are unavailable for the new dates you can apply for a refund by contacting
